I work in Turner Poster Color, a vivid and unique water-soluble paint, which is the same brand Studio Ghibli uses for backgrounds. I typically paint on BFK or cold-pressed watercolor paper, using a variety of wet and dry brush techniques, achieving a whimsical and warm finish.
*fun fact: this is the same paint used for backgrounds in Studio Ghibli movies. :)
