Japan 2024
In the summer of 2024 my partner and I traveled to Japan to revisit some places I explored in my study abroad 9 years prior, as well as some new adventures. Of course, I brought my sketchbook and paints to capture memories along the way.
Greece 2024
I was invited to be a part of Lago Skiathos’ first group of residents in September 2024. For 11 wonderful days, we traveled to different beaches, islands, studios, and workshops to witness the culture and traditions of Greece. Similarly, I painted 4 plein eir paintings, and also produced a mural in the residency villa itself, seen below.

“During her time at Lago Skiathos, Taylor explored the island’s natural beauty through a plein air se ries, creating four original gouache paintings at specific site locations across Skiathos. She also completed a mural titled Taste of Land and Sea in our kitchen, inspired by local ingredients and the decorative architecture of the Sporades. This mural beautifully intertwines her passions for art, horticulture, and community, leaving a lasting mark on the residency space.”
